Cinematographer - Land & Water

Ricardo is a cinematographer specialising in underwater cinematography & photography. Based in Lisbon (Portugal), Ricardo’s prime focus is mainly on action & adventure sports. Determined to pursue a career in filmmaking, Ricardo combined the knowledge he acquired through his formal education in Mechanical Engineering with various elements of motion-picture cinematography to achieve superior images in defying benthic conditions. Currently, Ricardo is operating as the director of photography on several feature-length documentaries, short artistic projects as well as branded content for global brands like Red Bull.

Director & UW Cinematographer

David is a director specialising in underwater sports and wildlife. David started diving at a very young age in the Azores Islands and naturally throughout the years he developed the skills needed to capture amazing images when freediving, allowing him to travel around the world shooting underwater in the most challenging scenarios. David is currently directing documentaries for TV stations in different parts of the globe while shooting branded content.

Producer

Rui’s primary focus has been producing projects involving the ocean. He has developed incredible problem solving skills when it comes to shooting content in the water, both in pre-production and production fases. Working for some years in a national TV network gave him the technical skills and inside knowledge to operate in bigger productions. Spending his life in the ocean gave him the knowledge to ensure safe and smooth productions in the most challenging scenarios. Rui is specialising in underwater shooting due to the difficult nature of his work and is currently working on producing branded content and documentaries.
